The part most people don't see
What machine polishing actually does
The shine you see is a layer of clear coat a fraction of the thickness of a human hair. Every automatic car wash, every dry cloth and every careless sponge leaves fine scratches in it. In shade they hide. In direct sun they turn the panel grey and hazy.
A wax or a quick polish fills those scratches for a few weeks. Machine correction removes them — levelling the surface around each mark so light reflects cleanly again. That's the difference between a car that looks clean and a car that looks deep.
It is also why we measure paint depth before we start, panel by panel. Clear coat is finite. Knowing how much is there is what separates correction from damage.

The studio
Every car is detailed here, in Southend-on-Sea
This is not a mobile service. Paint correction and coating need controlled light, level ground and somewhere genuinely dust-free — so the work happens at our unit, and cars are booked in for the day rather than fitted around a driveway.
Drivers come to us from across Essex. Drop the car off in the morning, or leave it with us overnight for multi-stage work.
